This game/tool was produced in GB Studio 3.0.

All assets were designed in Piskel.

This project was produced for The Tool Jam 3., in an attempt to better understand how to use variables in game programming.

As GB Studio only allows 10 actors per 160X144 scenarios, the challenge was to think about how the user could reuse the same actors in different formats and functions (platform, enemy and collectibles).

I had even managed to make a lot of headway in the variations. The user could change the size of the platforms, enemy movement and define how to defeat them. However, when it was time to run, the engine was slower than my grandma walking, so I simplified everything to make it more functional.

Anyway, I'm happy with the result. Even if it's a little slow, it's working and I've managed to learn a lot in the process.  

The project is open source. You can download it and improve it as you wish, or try to understand the mess of events and variables I created.
